We don’t have much reliable information about J. A. Nüske. [...]
In the middle of the Adagio, at bars 12-13 there is a citation of the popular Studio 8 op.6 by F. Sor, followed by some unusual harmonies. The following Thema by Mozartis similar to much of Mozart’s early music, but nonetheless is still unknown to me. The only known Variation of it is a good example of this genre and is probably just a part of a larger set which is now lost.
