¡la Guitarra! 2006-2007 - Just Classical Guitar - Marco V. Bazzotti Home International

"¡la Guitarra! periodico trimestrale con DVD" was published by the "Ateneo della chitarra", still located in Porta Romana Course in Milan. Its coordinator was Maestro Rocco Peruggini (1962-2007) and the editor in chief Giuseppe Crotti. Among its collaborators were the master luthier Dario Pontiggia, together with a list of foreign names, such as Richard Jacobowski (USA), Remi Boucher (Canada), Philippe Villa (France), P. Alberto del Giusto (Argentina), Marcos Diaz (Spain) and Ubert Kappel (Germany). The DVD was included with each issue of the magazine. Exceptionally for the first issue, instead of the DVD, a CD by the Calabrian guitarist Luigi Attademo was included; he was a guest of the 2005 edition of "Incontri con la Chitarra" (Palazzina Liberty in Milan). Its release was announced with this program: "Our publication, together with "Il Fronimo", is the one with the highest number of pages and the lowest amount of advertising. There are never any articles, interviews or anything else that are not motivated exclusively by the search for the best possible result; without personal purposes of our own or on behalf of others. The attached DVDs, in addition to being an absolute novelty in the entire panorama of classical guitar (but that is not why we produce them), involve an increase in costs that (as long as we succeed) does not translate into a higher subscription fee [...] Finally, we sincerely hope that our full good faith in pursuing the objectives declared in the first issue will clearly shine through: to contribute to raising the level of quality of the guitar world and to achieve greater homogeneity of thought among the different guitar schools.
